About us
Nehemiah’s Day Outreach Ministries was founded on December 3, 2013. The purpose of this ministry is to reach those that do not know the Lord as their personal savior and to give those that are seeking the opportunity to know more about God and to be led by the Holy Spirit, in one place, with one spirit, mind and body, in praising and worshipping God. The word of God tells us that in the beginning was the word and the word was God. It is the desire of the pastor, board of directors, officers and members of Nehemiah’s Day Outreach Ministries to allow our light to shine so that others may see the word of God through our lives and communities, with worldwide involvement that we may lead men and women to Christ.
Evangelist Pearlene Ford
Evangelist Pearlene Ford was born in Georgetown, South Carolina. She grew up in a small sub-community called Plantersville, S. C.; there she attended her local church ST Paul A. M. E.

In 1975 Pearlene attended St. Stevens Pentecostal Church under the Pastorship of David Atkins where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and received the Baptism of Holy Spirit.

Approximately 1979 Pearlene became a member of Little Rock Church of Christ where Elder Joseph Douglas was Senior Pastor. She learned a lot and was taught in many areas of the ministry under his tutelage.

In 1989 she enrolled in South Central Community College in New Haven, CT where she received her Associates Degree in Science. She also worked as a Counselor for troubled teens.

In 1996 Pearlene gave her initial sermon at Little Rock Church of Christ and was ordained as an Evangelist under the Pastorship of Elder Joseph Douglas. Eager to learn more about God’s word she attended SNERBS bible school in 1998, located in West Haven, CT.

Later in the years and under the guidance of Elder Douglas’s guidance she was taught even more about God’s word by Pastor Charles Lewis who was invited into our church home to expand the knowledge of God’s people.

Pearlene received her certificate from Yale University to help/teach the illiterate and is also CPR certified.

In 2000 the church of Little Rock Church of Christ became Rock Tabernacle Ministries under the Pastorship of Dr. Willis Miller, Jr, in which she was able to graduate from Rock Tabernacle Ministries Bible Institute, receiving her certification for completion of studies in theology.

In 2003 at Rock Tabernacle Ministries (formally known as Little Rock), Pearlene was called into another level of her ministry; a Prophetic ministry. A few years ago she was led to go out into Pastorship and has finally accepted the call to do so.
From this acceptance, birthed was Nehemiah’s Day Outreach Ministries! Nehemiah’s Day Outreach Ministries is about restoring and rebuilding lives through the word of God. Please come out to worship with us! God Bless.
